Cream Cheese Sprinkle (Spritz) Cookies in my High Altitude Kitchen, Obviously great for the Holidays

High Altitude Cream Cheese Spritz Cookies


Ingredients:


1 cup softened butter

4 oz softened cream cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup colored sugar sprinkles, etc.


Preheat & Prepare:

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and ready unlined baking sheets.

Combine the Ingredients:

Beat the softened butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until thoroughly mixed.

Incorporate Dry Ingredients:

Blend in the flour and salt until the mixture is well combined.

Chill Dough: Chill Dough before loading the press.

Prepare the Cookie Press:

Load the cookie press with the prepared dough.

Form Cookies:

Use the cookie press to shape the cookies on the unlined baking sheets.

Decorate:

Sprinkle colored sugar or decorations generously onto the formed cookies.

Bake:

Place the cookies in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until they acquire a light golden brown hue.

Cool & Enjoy:

Let the cookies cool entirely on the baking sheets before indulging in these delightful treats!
